Gary studied photography at SUNY Empire State College (Rochester, NY) mentored by Marilyn Anderson, graduating with a B.A. in Photography. He worked as an industrial photographer at Kodak Park Photo Services for 7 years, then segued into a totally different career in software development and management for several decades. Along the way, Gary developed (no pun) interests in metalsmithing, electronics, charcoal drawing, pastels, and Latin dance. His interest in photography was rekindled by his daughter a few years ago. She is pursuing a career as a photographer in NYC. Gary travels the east coast visiting the many wildlife sanctuaries we are blessed with. A nuclear power plant is not exactly a mainstream landscape subject, but the peacefulness of this dusk scene contrasted with the awesome power being generated was too engaging to pass by. I have a large aluminum print of this scene hanging in my living room. I find it relaxing and exciting at the same time.
